One of the strongest picture editing advice you'll discover as you first know how to shoot is not to over-saturate colors. It's a beginner's error we all create at some stage because saturating colors create an effect on an image's look very important. With this in view, my pro tip is to take the innate inclination to head the opposite way around. Instead of ramping up colors by saturating them further, the colors desaturate until they make sense.
